About me

Video games and the Japanese language are my main passions in life, and I am delighted to be able to work in an environment that sustains growth in my field of interest.

I graduated with a Master's Degree in Translation from Japanese into English from Kent State University. I also studied Translation Localization Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies for one year before transferring to Kent State University. As there are very few translation programs in the United States that offer Japanese, I am able to leverage the strengths of both.

The Japanese language has been a driving force in my life starting in high school. After graduating with a double major in Japanese Literature and Language and International Affairs, I briefly worked at a start-up software company and then proceeded to teach English in Japan for one year.

To me, overcoming obstacles and connecting with others regardless of language or cultural barriers is exhilarating. I work well in teams; particularly in terms of organizing tasks, sharing my thoughts with others, and pulling my own weight.
